  • The ASA Tennessee Staffing Symposium, June 8 in Nashville, is designed specifically for professionals doing business in the Tennessee region. This one-day event will convene an impressive lineup of national and local industry leaders for strategic discussions and timely presentations.

Toby Malara, ASA government affairs counsel, begins with a timely discussion focused on the new administration and Congress. What policy changes can the administration make on its own? Where does it need help from Congress? Which issues are on their respective legislative agendas, and what does that mean for the staffing industry?

Next, veteran staffing industry educator and author Scott Wintrip will share his well-established recruiting best practices to hire better and faster.

While you enjoy lunch, explore business and operational questions and gain practical solutions specific to the Tennessee region during a roundtable learning session called Trending Insights. This is a valuable opportunity to participate in strategic discussions with industry thought leaders.

After lunch, an interactive panel discussion will address one of the most pressing issues in the staffing industry today: technology—whether it’s adopting new systems, improving the ones you have, or just knowing what to expect in the immediate future. Jason Leverant of the @Work Group based in Knoxville will facilitate this can’t-miss discussion.

Finally, get a behind-the-scenes look at the recruiting strategies competitive staffing companies are using in hyper-competitive markets right now. Suzy Richard of CareerBuilder outlines key findings to help you stay ahead of the latest recruitment trends. The survey data she’ll share includes input from hundreds of human resources, talent acquisition, and human capital management professionals to get the pulse on the biggest recruitment trends impacting businesses throughout the country.

This event qualifies for 6.5 continuing education hours (1.0 of which are legal) toward maintaining your ASA credential.
