As Senior VP of Strategy, Vaca is responsible for the overall direction of Pinnacle\u2019s client services, sales, marketing and IT groups. By aligning these groups under his visionary leadership, Pinnacle is poised to take the next leap forward in its evolution. He has also been instrumental in driving Pinnacle\u2019s past growth and key innovations, including Pinnacle\u2019s acquisition of Provade in 2011. This immediately gave The Pinnacle Group a global presence in 37 countries, which has since expanded to over 60.<\/p>\n
Community engagement is one of Vaca\u2019s key values, and he dedicates significant time and resources to causes supporting children, women and the homeless, including The Boys and Girls Club of America, Back on My Feet, Parents Step Ahead and Heroes for Children. Recently, Vaca was named to the board of directors of MyPlates, the sole provider of specialty license plates in the state of Texas, which leverages its proprietary software to contribute millions of dollars to the state general fund each year. He was also appointed to the policy council of the American Staffing Association, one of the largest and leading voices in the workforce solutions industry in the U.S.<\/p>\n
Previously, the Dallas Business Journal named Vaca to its \u201c40 under 40\u201d list and the national publication Latino Leaders Magazine has called him one of its \u201cLeaders of the Future.\u201d<\/p>\n
Vaca is a graduate of the Southern Methodist University Technologies Program with a certificate in computer engineering and applied sciences.
