Former ASA Board Chairman, Hanratty Is Founder of Jaci Carroll Staffing Solutions

The American Staffing Association today inducted former board chairman Kathie Hanratty into the ASA Leadership Hall of Fame. Hanratty was honored during the opening general session of Staffing World® 2014, the association’s annual convention and expo. The award was created in 1985 to recognize outstanding individual contributions made through dedicated service to ASA and the staffing industry.

Hanratty served as ASA chairman in 1999 and on the ASA board of directors for more than a decade. She also served on various ASA committees, including those for public relations, strategic planning, membership services, and chapter relations, among others. She twice served as president of the Connecticut Staffing Association, an ASA-affiliated chapter.

“Kathie Hanratty’s contributions, leadership, and passion have benefited the staffing industry and the American Staffing Association in countless ways for more than 25 years,” said Richard Wahlquist, ASA president and chief executive officer. “Her induction into the Leadership Hall of Fame is well deserved, and we are delighted to welcome her into the ranks of this most prestigious group of industry leaders.”

Hanratty and her mother, Jaci Carroll, founded Jaci Carroll Staffing Services, based in Middlebury, CT, in 1976. She is a second-generation staffing professional, having followed in the footsteps of her mother Jaci Carroll, who was inducted into the ASA Leadership Hall of Fame in 1997. Hanratty’s induction marks the first time a mother and daughter have been named to this elite group.
