The American Staffing Association is pleased to announce that three members of its senior management team—president and chief executive officer Richard Wahlquist; chief operating officer Steven P. Berchem, CSP; and senior counsel Edward A. Lenz, Esq.—were named to the 2014 Staffing Industry Analysts North American Staffing 100. This list recognizes the most influential professionals in the staffing industry.

Wahlquist and Lenz have been included on the list every year since it was introduced in 2010. This is the first year that Berchem was chosen as a member of this elite group of staffing influencers and thought leaders.

“I am honored to be named to the 2014 North American Staffing 100 and to be part of this esteemed group of my colleagues,” Berchem said. “I am delighted that my contributions during my 16-year tenure with ASA to elevate the image of the staffing industry among the U.S. public, policy makers, job seekers, and staffing clients has been recognized in such a prestigious and public manner.”

Staffing Industry Analysts’ editorial team reviews all nominations and decides on the individuals to be included in the annual Staffing 100. The list typically includes but is not limited to entrepreneurs, chief executive officers of large staffing firms, and individuals who have majorly impacted or influenced the industry through mergers and acquisitions or legislative work.
