National Staffing Employee of the Year, Care Awards, and New Genius Awards—Now Open

The American Staffing Association officially launched its 2016 awards season by unveiling the new ASA Genius Awards, formerly known as the ASA VOICE Awards. The Genius Awards, a rebranded recognition program exclusively for ASA member staffing companies, showcases the industry’s best communications and marketing products and campaigns.

ASA is now accepting submissions for all its awards programs—the ASA Genius Awards, ASA Care Awards, and National Staffing Employee of the Year. Through these awards programs, the association honors the exemplary people, unsung heroes, and outstanding communications efforts of its members, their temporary and contract employees, and affiliated chapters and regional councils.

  • ASA Genius Awards honor the best and most innovative member staffing company communications and marketing strategies in 16 updated digital media, print media, and marketing content categories and four award classes. The application process is greatly simplified-applicants complete an online form and submit either digital or print campaign examples via the form or through the mail. The fee is $100 per entry. Entries are due July 1.
  • ASA Care Awards recognize outstanding corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives among ASA member staffing companies, associate members, and affiliated chapters and regional councils. Any CSR initiative active at the time of submission is eligible. Applicants complete a short online form and attach any supplemental materials (e.g., videos or images) that illustrate the initiative. Entries are due July 1.
  • National Staffing Employee of the Year honors a temporary or contract employee with an extraordinary staffing success story and who exemplifies one or both of the industry’s key messages of “bridge” and “flexibility.” ASA also will recognize finalists-as merited-in each industry sector: health care; industrial; office-clerical and administrative; professional-managerial; and engineering, information technology, and scientific. To qualify, the employee must have worked through an ASA member company since Aug. 1, 2015. The application consists of an online form. Entries are due Aug. 1.

Award honorees are recognized at Staffing World, the industry’s largest gathering of staffing, recruiting, and workforce solutions professionals, and in ASA publications, news releases, social media, and more.
