New Professional Organization Established to Serve as Voice of Staffing and Recruiting Industry in Capital Area

Capital CouncilThe American Staffing Association has formed the ASA Capital Area Council to advance the interests of the staffing, recruiting, and workforce solutions industry in the Washington, DC, region to the benefit of member companies, job seekers, businesses, and the economy.

ASA councils are new regional- and state-level organizations committed to enhancing, protecting, and advocating for the staffing, recruiting, and workforce solutions industry. The ASA Capital Area Council serves as the voice of the staffing industry in communicating with local legislators, regulators, news media, businesses, employees, and community leaders. While identifying with the mission of ASA, the council provides local professional networking and educational opportunities for industry professionals, and establishes a constituency group to advocate for the industry regarding local staffing-related legislation in Maryland; Virginia; or Washington, DC.

The council invites staffing companies and suppliers to attend its inaugural event, the ASA Capital Area Conference.
