Yemi Akisanya

Akisanya is a senior executive and vice president of justice, equity, diversity, inclusion (JEDI) and people experience at Axon. In this role, he leads the development and execution of Axon’s global JEDI strategy and oversees the enhancement of the overall people experience at Axon. He has been fortunate to offer his services as a dependable executive advisor, leadership coach, organizational expert, conference speaker, and designer of DEI strategies to some of the world’s most esteemed organizations, including both for-profit and nonprofit companies globally. Akisanya serves on the board of directors for i.c.stars, a program that provides workforce development and access to career opportunities for low-income adults. He is the current chairman of the board of directors for Digitalundivided, which advocates to catalyze economic growth for Black and Latinx women entrepreneurs and innovators. He also serves on the board of directors for the Chicago State University Foundation.
