Sam Arora

Chief executive officer, The Arora Group

Before taking the helm as CEO of the Arora Group, Arora served as the company’s vice president from 2010 to 2021 and led its business development, human resource, recruiting, and legal departments. He previously served as a state representative in the Maryland General Assembly, prior to which he was a law clerk to the attorney general of Maryland as well as the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Arora has worked as an aide to two U.S. senators and the Democratic National Committee. He graduated with honors from Columbia University; studied at the University of Oxford; and earned a juris doctor degree from Georgetown, where his peers elected him president of the student body. He has served as a member of the policy making body of the American Bar Association and is admitted to the bars of the U.S. Supreme Court and the State of Maryland.
