Time: 1:00PM
David A. Koch, President/CEO
TEKCare
ACA Consulting & Insurance Services
ACA Administration & Eligibility

As you probably already know, effective January 1, 2014, PPACA- ie National Healthcare requires Staffing Companies with 50+ FTE employees to offer Health insurance or face a tax penalty/excise tax that is not tax deductible. The questions you are probably asking yourself are:
1) Will I be affected by this new law?
2) Do I know how many FTE employees I will have on January 1, 2014?
3) Do I know the cost associated with offering health insurance to my full time employees?
4) Can I offer health coverage that could be less expensive than paying the fines?
5) How will I keep track of all these “new” employees?
6) Should I pay the fines?

We will discuss these questions and present solutions for your consideration.

March 31 – April 1 Staffing Law Conference
New Administration and Congress Mean Legal Challenges for Staffing FirmsThe results of last year’s historic elections could result in the most radical changes in labor and employment law since the 1930s—which would have a profound impact on how you and your clients do business.

To address these changes, ASA is sponsoring the first-ever national conference devoted specifically to legal issues that affect the staffing industry. This content-rich day-and-a-half program is a must for staffing company owners, executives, and managers; human resource professionals; and lawyers.

The conference will cover a wide range of labor and employment law topics, from wage and hour issues to union organizing efforts, all from the unique perspective of the staffing industry.

The legal content will be provided by attorneys from the national law firm of Seyfarth Shaw LLP, who are highly regarded experts in their fields.
