Sessions are evaluated by ASA staff and a group of volunteers with many years of industry experience. Recommendations for inclusion are based on proposal quality, presenter/facilitator expertise, and suitability for the ASA audience. More presentations are submitted than can be accepted. Final acceptance is also dependent on space availability and proposal uniqueness.

Presentations must be tailored for staffing industry professionals, showing evidence of material that will make a significant contribution to the development of attendees’ professional capabilities and knowledge of the field.
Submissions are evaluated on the following criteria:
- Complete presentation submission, submitted by the deadline.
- Session learning level is appropriate for the audience and topic.
- Identification of three actionable learner outcomes that complete the following the sentence: After participating in this session, attendees will be able to:
- Session is designed to encourage audience questions, interaction, and participation.
- Presenter or panelists have in-depth topic knowledge.
- Content is focused, current, practical, or innovative.

- Contact information for person completing the form
- Presenter contact information [if different than contact person]
- Presenters bio, photo, credentials
- Industry background?
- Is presenter a trainer, industry professional, or industry supplier
- Any co-presenters? [co-presenter name, title, company]
- Session title, description, learning objectives, topic areas, target audience, target audience level
- Session submission alignment with industry trends

There’s no charge to submit a proposal.

Travel coverage varies depending on the nature of the session and the agreement made. In some cases, we offer honorariums, travel reimbursement, or both; in others, participation may be voluntary. If you're invited to speak, the terms will be discussed and confirmed individually.

Anyone who attends Staffing World sessions must be a registered attendee of the conference. We are not able to offer complimentary guest passes.

Yes. However, you will have to work quickly to obtain final confirmation from all presenters if your submission is selected.

Webinar proposals are evaluated by ASA Staff based on proposal quality and uniqueness, presenter/facilitator expertise, and suitability for the ASA audience. Scheduling is typically done two or more months in advance and is dependent on availability and currently scheduled webinars.

In certain special circumstances ASA is able to provide a nominal honorarium, but typically presenting a webinar is a volunteer and exposure-generating experience. Speakers can make professional connections, promote their services or books, and speakers who are Certified Staffing Professionals receive 2 hours of ASA continuing education credit for their webinar.

We welcome your ideas and possible speakers. If we can contact and confirm co-speakers or panelists, we will move forward with your proposal.

Panelists are typically selected and invited. If you would like to be considered for future panel participation, please email your areas of expertise and qualifications to Monica Graziosi, manager of online learning programs.

Suggestions for future topics can be submitted in our Webinar Exit Survey at the end of any ASA Webinar.

We suggest contacting your community’s ASA Staff Liaison directly with proposals for group-specific topics. If selected, the group and our Learning Development team will collaborate to plan and produce the webinar.
