American Staffing Association Elects 2018 Board of Directors

The members of the American Staffing Association elected individuals to serve three-year terms on the ASA board of directors at the annual membership meeting during Staffing World®, the ASA annual convention and expo, in Chicago.

The seven directors elected are Threase Baker, CSP, TSC, Abbtech Professional Resources Inc.; Jeffrey S. Burnett, CSP, Labor Finders International Inc.; John A. Elwood, CSP, Elwood Staffing; James A. Essey, CSP, TemPositions Group of Cos.; Chris Hartman, Allegis Group; Leo Sheridan, Advanced Group; and Dan Thomson, CHG Healthcare Services Inc.

The ASA board of directors elected a new slate of officers for 2017–2018:

  • Kelly McCreight, CSP, Hamilton-Ryker Co., chairman
  • Karenjo Goodwin, Exact Staff Inc., first vice chairman
  • Peter Quigley, Kelly Services Inc., second vice chairman
  • Leo Sheridan, Advanced Group, treasurer
  • Chris Hartman, Allegis Group, secretary

Other directors currently serving on the board are Tom Bickes, EmployBridge Holding Co.; Jeff Bowling, the Delta Cos.; Susan Dietrich, AllTek Staffing & Resource Group Inc. (immediate past chairman); W. Benjamin “Ben” Elliott, Randstad North America; Lesa Francis, CSP, Supplemental Health Care; Robert A. Funk, Express Employment Professionals; Tom Gimbel, LaSalle Network; Jeff Harris, ettain group; Kristen Harris, CSP, Portfolio Creative; Greg Holland, Adecco Group North America; Dan Struve, CSP, Helpmates Staffing Services; Mark Toth, CSP, ManpowerGroup; and Steve Wehn, AMN Healthcare.

Representatives from independent firms and national companies serve on the ASA board of directors.
