American Staffing Association Elects 2019 Board of Directors

The members of the American Staffing Association elected individuals to serve three-year terms on the ASA board of directors at the annual membership meeting during Staffing World®, the ASA annual convention and expo, in metro Washington, DC, earlier this week.

The eight directors elected are Susan Dietrich, SPHR, AllTek Staffing and Resource Group; W. Benjamin “Ben” Elliott, Randstad US; Lesa Francis, CSP, Supplemental Healthcare; Tom Gimbel, LaSalle Network; Karenjo Goodwin, Exact Staff; Dan Struve, CSP, Helpmates Staffing Services; Mark Toth, CSP, ManpowerGroup; and Steve Wehn, AMN Healthcare.

The ASA board of directors elected a new slate of officers for 2018–19:

  • Karenjo Goodwin, Exact Staff Inc., chairman
  • Leo Sheridan, Advanced Group, first vice chairman
  • Peter Quigley, Kelly Services Inc., second vice chairman
  • Chris Hartman, Allegis Group, treasurer
  • W. Benjamin “Ben” Elliott, Randstad US, secretary

Other directors currently serving on the board are Threase Baker, TSC, CSP, Abbtech Professional Resources Inc.; Tom Bickes, EmployBridge Holding Co.; Jeff Bowling, The Delta Cos.; Jeffrey S. Burnett, CSP, Labor Finders International Inc.; John A. Elwood, CSP, Elwood Staffing; James A. Essey, CSP, TemPositions Group of Cos.; Robert A. Funk, Express Employment Professionals; Jeff Harris, ettain group; Kristen Harris, CSP, Portfolio Creative; Greg Holland, Adecco North America; and Kelly McCreight, CSP, Hamilton-Ryker (immediate past chairman).

Representatives from independent firms and national companies serve on the ASA board of directors.
