The ASA Women in Leadership council is excited to announce that it will host a speaker incubator program at THRIVE Live in Charlotte, NC, in October.
If you have aspirations of becoming a speaker and sharing your ideas, strategies, or perspectives with a room full of attendees, we encourage you to submit an application for consideration no later than Friday, June 9.
Volunteers from the ASA Women in Leadership council will review all submissions and select a group of semifinalists by Friday, June 23.
Semifinalists will have the opportunity to submit a video presenting a working draft of their potential THRIVEx talk to the council—due Friday, July 21. Winners will be selected after review of the videos.
THRIVEx speakers will work with a small group of volunteers to hone their speeches before THRIVE Live, where they will deliver their presentation, along with the other winners, on the stage on Oct. 2.
THRIVEx winners will receive
- Paid travel expenses to THRIVE Live
- Coverage of one hotel night (Monday, October 2)
- FREE registration to THRIVE Live and Staffing World
- A speaker honorarium

This opportunity is exclusively for people who identify as a woman and who are not paid professional speakers.

Applicants must not have been paid to speak on more than three occasions.

All presentations should be 10-12 minutes.

The choice is yours! The THRIVE audience will be mostly women in staffing. Our other speakers will focus on a myriad of topics around women in business.
