On Nov. 14, th U.S. Department of Homeland Security released another new Form I-9 that will become mandatory as of Jan. 22, 2017. The revised instructions have gone from six pages to 15 pages. The form has many new features, and even a new page. The M-274 Handbook for Employers will also be amended by the Jan. 22 effective date.
