Highlights

Talent management isn’t one-size-fits-all—and in today’s evolving workplace, inclusion means recognizing that people grow, contribute, and thrive in different ways. This final session of the Inclusion in Action series, brought to you by the ASA inclusion, diversity, and equity advocacy (IDEA) group, explores how to build inclusive talent systems that support employee growth, performance, and well-being—whether you’re developing your own team or placing talent with clients.

Attendees will unpack strategies for setting clear, measurable goals; designing transparent promotion pathways; and ensuring that performance metrics are fair, motivating, and aligned with individual growth. They will also explore how generational differences and personal life stages impact employee development.

Participants will be able to

  • Identify inclusive practices across the employee lifecycle—from onboarding and goal setting to promotion and performance review.
  • Explore how generational diversity and life circumstances shape employee needs, expectations, and contributions.
  • Reflect on the balance between accountability and flexibility in performance management.
  • Consider how internal policies and client placement strategies can either support or stall inclusive growth.

Facilitators will blend their expert insights with peer-to-peer exchange, offering a collaborative space for attendees to troubleshoot challenges, share ideas, and leave with strategies that translate into action
