The American Staffing Association announced today that senior manager for member engagement Haley Jones, CAE, has been named to Association Forum’s 40 under 40 list for 2021. Association Forum’s 40 under 40 program recognizes outstanding association and nonprofit professionals for their accomplishments, commitment to the industry, leadership skills, and continued potential.

Jones has played an integral role in the development and management of ASA diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. In addition to serving as the staff liaison to the association’s inclusion, diversity, and equity advocacy (IDEA) group council, Jones also leads the association’s partnerships with organizations such as the National Urban League and the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy. She also manages the ASA state network and chapter programs and owner peer groups, and performs other volunteer management responsibilities.

Jones has been recognized for her accomplishments in the association community as an ASAE Diversity Executive Leadership Program 2019–21 scholar and has served the association community as a volunteer many times over her nearly 16-year association career. Jones also earned the Certified Association Executive credential in 2018, the marker of a committed association professional who demonstrates the knowledge essential to association management.

“Haley’s commitment to association excellence and best practices is evident in all of her work. We are thrilled to have her recognized by Association Forum as a leader in the association industry,” said Richard Wahlquist, president and chief executive officer of the American Staffing Association. “From planning local events to leading the association’s diversity, equity, and inclusion work, Haley’s leadership is driving progress both in and around the staffing community.”
