Co-employment is a relationship in which two parties share rights and obligations with respect to the same employees. In a staffing relationship, typically both the staffing firm and client will be co- or joint employers. Co-employment is an inherent part of the staffing relationship and should be embraced, rather than feared, by staffing firms and clients.
