Training programs elevate sales, recruitment, and leadership while her consulting services create scalable methodologies so companies can manage business units and teams for performance. Prior to joining Cobalt Compass, Henderson had 28 years in the staffing industry and served as a member of executive leadership for a global and a national recruitment company. She also started a staffing company with partners, grew it to $100M, and sold it to the global firm. Henderson has a master of business administration degree as well as PMP and Six Sigma certifications.


Jay MatternJay Mattern

Chief executive officer, TerraFirma Marketing

Mattern, TerraFirma Marketing CEO and former CEO of the Peoplelink Group, spent 32 years in the staffing industry. Under his leadership, Peoplelink had a compound annual growth rate of nearly 12% and became the 35thlargest staffing firm in the U.S. Mattern was named to Staffing Industry Analysts’ 100 most prominent staffing leaders for three consecutive years. He also earned a Certified Staffing Professional® credential from ASA. He retired from Peoplelink in 2019 and now brings his staffing background to the field of marketing communications. His primary objective is to help staffing firms become more effective at integrating marketing programs with their selling efforts, and to improve their recruiting results.


Walter PrystowskyWalter Prystowsky

Director of marketing, The TemPositions Group of Companies

Prystowsky joined TemPositions in 2018 and, as director of marketing, implements data-driven tactics to enhance TemPositions’ position in the competitive job market. Drawing from expertise in market analytics, he leads efforts to optimize recruitment campaigns and strengthen the company’s employer brand through targeted content and technical search engine optimization. His approach is rooted in evidence-based methods, leveraging key industry insights to attract and retain high-caliber talent. Prystowsky manages recruitment campaigns, oversees TemPositions’ online presence for employer branding, and spearheads client communication strategies, which entail the creation of materials such as brochures and case studies to effectively engage both prospective and existing clients. He is chair of the ASA marketing and public relations committee.
