The American Staffing Association, the voice of the U.S. staffing and recruiting industry, is pleased to announce that it was honored with a bronze award in the 2018 Telly Awards. The award was conferred in the nonbroadcast, general‒corporate category, for the association’s 2017 “Faces of Staffing” video, which featured 2017 National Staffing Employee of the Year Wendy Hobbie.

Since 1979, the Telly Awards have recognized excellence in video achievement across several mediums, including television commercials, web series, nonbroadcast video, and more.

“ASA is delighted to be recognized among some of the most well-known and respected organizations in the world as a Telly Award honoree,” said Richard Wahlquist, ASA president and chief executive officer. “The ‘Faces of Staffing’ video series shares powerful, real-life stories of temporary and contract employee success, and Wendy Hobbie’s is particularly special as it shows how staffing is helping this remarkable young woman achieve her dreams of Broadway stardom.”

The Telly Awards are judged by more than 200 prior winners with experience in several different fields. This year, more than 12,000 companies in five continents applied for awards.
