When employing AI tools, staffing industry professionals report varying degrees of usefulness for certain tasks. According to these respondents, AI tools offer significant utility within client-facing situations such as onboarding, training, and coaching. Using AI for candidate credentialing and for making offers is thought by many respondents to be useful, but less so than other staffing-specific tasks for AI. These responses suggest that the staffing industry is slowly finding applications for AI, but the technology has a ways to progress before successfully assuming higher-order functions in staffing such as interviews and decision making. The extent of AI application within the staffing industry will depend on its adoption within private markets and the extent to which they prefer to utilize these systems over the services provided by staffing firms.
