People with disabilities make up a talent pool that can help staffing professionals meet their clients’ needs. In this webinar, Renee Tajudeen of the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy will explore disability inclusion as a workforce strategy and share practices that staffing professionals—as employers and as providers of client services—can use to increase hiring of candidates with disabilities. She also will explore disability employment resources available to staffing professionals and discuss how you can capitalize on related initiatives, including the 30th anniversary of the Americans With Disabilities Act and the 75th anniversary of “National Employ the Physically Handicapped Week,” which evolved into the annual observance of National Disability Employment Awareness Month each October.

During this webinar, attendees will

  • Understand the definition of “disability”
  • Learn the core components of a disability-inclusive workplace
  • Take away key strategies for implementing the core components
  • Be able to identify key resources available to help increase disability inclusion within staffing companies and in their client organizations
